Well, what a year 2020 has been.
Covid 19 has affected us all in many different ways. Down here in Cornwall many of us have benefited from the great outdoors. Sailing, boating, walking, swimming, surfing, climbing we really are very privileged to have all this outdoor space & to be able to enjoy these activities and many more. On the sunny Helford River it has actually been busier than ever this year. OK, it took a while to get going, but after the lifting of the lockdown restrictions, the first boats began making their way on to the river from early July rather than April, but since then it has been full steam ahead, with the season continuing right up to the end of October.
We were so lucky with the weather this summer. Beaches full, the river busy, pubs serving takeaways – it was different this year, but we made the most of it and we hope you did to. Check out our Instagram Page mooringsonthehelfordriver to see our latest photos.
